Mindfulness Meditation Programme

Discover Ancient Wisdom for Modern Well-being

Mindfulness meditation has become one of the world’s most valued practices for healing both mind and body. At Tranquil Path Retreat Centre UK, we offer authentic meditation training rooted in the noble teachings of the Buddha, primarily following the Theravada Buddhist tradition while respecting all Buddhist paths.

What is Meditation?

Meditation, or Bhavana in Pali, means the ‘cultivation’ of wholesome mental states. These cultivated states work together with various practice methods to bring complete peace to the mind—a peace that transcends all boundaries of race, culture, or belief.

Our Meditation Approach

We teach two complementary forms of meditation:

Samatha (Tranquillity Meditation) – Develops deep tranquillity and mental stability, creating a calm foundation for spiritual growth (there are 40 type of techniques) .

Vipassana (Insight Meditation) – Cultivates profound insight into the nature of reality, leading to the natural release of mental suffering and attachment.

Beyond meditation, we embrace the complete Noble Eightfold Path, which includes developing healthy perspectives, attitudes, and personal qualities that support a peaceful and meaningful life.
